Hi Rania,

Not knowing more about you or your period it is difficult to say what could be causing your irregular period. Age can be a big factor. Robyn Srigley, a holistic health coach has shared a wonderful article detailing the common issues causing irregularity in ladies of all ages. We encourage you to check it out at http://www.bepreparedperiod.com/blog/why-is-my-period-irregular/.

Hope this helps! If not, please feel free to edit your question description to include more details about you (age, how long you've been menstruating, etc) as well as your period experiences.

Best wishes!

When I first started getting my periods they were irregular too.  People and the docs would say that my body was getting used to having periods.  By the time I hit my early 20's they were still irregular.  The nurse said that it was unusual and I really needed to keep track.  So, I found a blank piece of paper and dutifully recorded each start date.  They were between 39 and 36 days apart.  Year after year the gynecologist nurses were amazed that I was not regular.  Finally I just got tired of telling them because there was nothing they did anyway.  By age 28 I was married and by 32 I was pregnant.  I still had that same piece of paper and could not believe how true it was.  I had never had regular periods.  But finally after having my first child they were regular.  Every 28 or 29 days.  What a relief.  I had three other kids.  So irregular periods were a fiasco for a big part of my life it I could still have kids.  And that's all that really mattered!
