March 9th, 2012 Be Prepared Period and You ARE Loved will join forces again for yet another fun chat! March’s event will be a Come & Chat: Puberty and Periods – Guiding Tween & Teen Girls session. An opportunity to discuss period & puberty experiences and concerns.
To help promote the event and encourage participation You ARE Loved has generously donated $20 for one lucky participant to spend at www.bepreparedperiod.com. That’s right! The winner will get to pick their fave menstrual products!
Shopping online means no embarrassing trips down “the isle of supplies” at the drugstore. Shop from the convenience of your own home and let them be delivered to you when you need them.

I learned that tampons are never safe, no matter how often you change them. I switched from pads and tampons to reusable cloth menstrual pads and a Diva Cup well over a year ago, and this is one more reason I’m glad that I did!

I learned the different symptoms for TSS from reading the stories. Including rashes, a fever, itchy palms, vomiting.
I learned anyone can get TSS.
