Is there anything more powerful than the two words, “Me too”? It’s such a seemingly simple sentence, but it holds amazing power to connect people despite their differences. There are many reasons for this, but when it comes down to it, connecting with other people just makes you feel good.
As women, it is so important that we share our stories out loud. So often, we let our busy schedules, our lives, or even our shame separate us from other people. Let’s put a stop to the fear that keeps us from sharing. We’re here to tell you:
You are amazing. Your story is powerful. And by breaking the silence on the once taboo topic of periods, we will all be able to live healthier and more empowered lives. This month at BPP, we want to celebrate the power of coming together. When we share our stories, we open up the possibility for important conversations. We have the ability to free someone from shame or embarrassment. We have the power to learn healthy habits, and in turn, we can better the lives of ourselves and other women. But how do we do this? If you’re not quite ready to shout your truth from the rooftops, we’ve got your back. There are several ways you can share your story with us at Be Prepared Period. Which, in turn, can help to share your message with like-minded ladies all around the world.
Period Stories
Period Talk is not taboo, and it’s nothing to be ashamed of. And what’s the quickest way to break through those old stigmas? To talk about it! Openly, freely, and proudly. That’s why we promote AND facilitate open conversation here at Be Prepared. Period. When we share our stories, you start to notice there’s a lot more that connects us than divides us. And that’s what it’s all about!
