It feels good to feel pretty, doesn’t it?

But feeling pretty isn’t always easy (not for me anyways). Feeling pretty usually means I’ve given myself a little self-love and have put in a little effort, I mean more than just throwing on a t-shirt and yoga pants.

GYPO Spring ChallengeBut effort takes energy, and if you’re like me, there’s not always enough of it to go around to get everything that needs to be done, done. That’s why last year my daughter and I were super excited to come across the Get Your Pretty On Summer Style Challenge. Being slightly competitive (even if just with myself), hearing the word “challenge” always peaks my interest.

But this challenge was different, it didn’t involve some grueling diet or exercise routine – it was all about clothes!

It started with a shopping list of about 20 items or so (you can shop for new items at the mall or shop your closet for existing pieces). Then, for 21 days you receive a new outfit idea in your inbox for you to recreate. Fun right!?! There’s even an awesome Facebook group for all participants to share pics of their creations.

My daughter and I had so much fun with it, we’ve signed up for every challenge following last year’s Summer Challenge (including a Work Wear Challenge, Winter Challenge, a Menswear Challenge – for the hubby, and now this year’s Spring Challenge). Not only is it fun to shop for new pieces to stay up-to-date with the latest trends, but it’s also a great way to look at your existing wardrobe with fresh eyes.

Do Some Good
Belonging to the same network of fempreneurs that share the mission of making a positive impact on the world, I reached out to Alison (the creator of the Get Your Pretty On Challenges) to see if she’d like to join forces to also help ladies with feminine hygiene issues.

Feminine CARE Donation Program

After hearing about our new Feminine CARE Donation Program, Alison jumped right on board! I’m super excited to share that not only will every Spring Style participant get the fun experience of the challenge, but a portion of their registration fee will be donated to help a lady/girl in need – how awesome is that?!?
