Is this my period?

I'm 12 and I was practising putting a tampon in.(I have done this once before) both times it has hurt when I tried to pull it out .this time I ran In to the full bath and tried it still hurt but it came out (I haven't had a peroid yet) . When it came out it had blood on it . I only had it in for two seconds ! I put it in the bin and then had my bath. Is this my peroid ?????

 Well it would be best if you don't use a tampon until like your 3-4 period because then your flow will be heavier and the reason why it hurts is since there is no blood ,the tampon is dry and it kinda rubs on you.hope this helps good luck:)

No, I don't think this is your period. You might have scraped your hymen a bit. I don't recommend using tampons until you've had your period for a while. I actually tore my hymen with a tampon when I was 15....I'd had my period for three years by then. Don't rush it...and please don't go putting things in there before it's time. You might hurt yourself.

No, I don't think this is your period. you might have scraped something, because it doesn't take 2 seconds to get blood on it. The reason it hurts is because the tampon is dry and it feels sort of like sandpaper. Sandpaper is not gentle. Hope this helped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
