Tampon users must be comfortable enough to say: \u201cHey, I\u2019m on my period and I\u2019m using tampons and I think I might have TSS \u2013 I need help!\u201d&nbsp; And, we all must be willing to initiate period talk, if only to raise awareness about TSS.<\/p>\n<p>Would you or your daughter<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>be able to recognize the symptoms of TSS?<\/li>\n<li>know what to do?<\/li>\n<li>be open to learning about safer menstrual options?<\/li>\n<li>share that you are using tampons with anyone? (Did you know that with TSS you can become deathly ill and if no one knows about the tampon inside you\u2026you might die from TSS?)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>TSS<\/strong> kills.
