My periods are pretty regular. I’ve never tried the reuseable items, I usually use tampons through the day and pads at night. Want to try the reusbale “cups” instead.

We are delighted to partner with you for our monthly #PeriodTalk tweet chats! February is shaping up to be a very special chat and a great way for participants to share, learn and (possibly) win!
I have to give a vote for Softcup! I love Softcup, and not just because I work for the brand. I love that Softcup makes me feel like I’m not even on my period. It’s so comfortable I can’t feel it when I’m wearing it, and the 12-hour wear time makes my life so much easier during that time of the month! I also love that it’s not linked to TSS and that I’m using fewer cups than I would tampons or pads.
I have been using the Diva cup for about 8yrs now and will never go back to using Tampons again!!! I also use my own mamapads that I made myself in likeness of the Luna pads. Recently I just introduced my teenage dd to the Instead cup. She fell in love instantly and never wants to use tampons again either!
i like softcups but i’ve only tried the disposable ones i want to give the reusable period cups a try
Instead softcups! I have yet to try a reusable cup, but I sure do love the comfort in knowing you’re covered with a cup. Not to mention how easy it is to do anything you’d like while wearing it.
Started out with Kotex Young pads, as well as Lil-lets. After 3 years, moved on to Lil-lets applicator tampons. Tried Tampax, they sucked. Then used Lil-lets non-applicator tampons for 2 years. They were by far the best. Now I have a DivaCup which I haven’t a chance to use yet, only on a dry run (not on my period), and even then I got it to pop open and didn’t feel it at all, so I’m looking forward to using it. I’d like to try Softcup, a Lunette cup and cloth pantyliners.
I use instead softcup! love them and want to try the reusable ones. Wont go back to tampons or pads.
I switched to Instead soft up a few months ago after using Tampax pearls for many years. I love the soft up mainly BC I can have no mess sex with it. My bf is military and gone a lot so the time we do get together I hate to be ruined by mother nature!
I LOVE Instead Softcups and have been using them for years! I no longer use pads or tampons, but do use thong panty liners just in case I have an unexpected heavy or looong day! LOVE LOVE LOVE Instead! No risk of TSS, you can enjoy sexual activity, and plain old outdoor activities too! No, I don’t work for the company – I just LOVE my softcups!
I only discovered menstrual cups about 3 years ago. I so wish I could have used them earlier on. Being a person who loves trying gadgets and new things, I took naturally to it. Shortly after that, I was so enthusiastic that I approached my favorite brand, Lunette and they hired me for the U.S. Talk about a stroke of luck! Love the concept, love the design, love the company. I’m thrilled to introduce new generations of women to this cutting-edge product.
I love the instead softcup! Been a user for about 10 yrs and love it. Also love the reusable ones.
I have a blue Selene Lunette menstrual cup and I love it! I will never use anything else, though I do keep traditional, disposable products on hand for a rare emergency. Thanks for promoting these!
I LOVE my lunette[its small, cute, and it fits my small frame!]. It’s so easy, sanitary and comfortable. I once was an AVID certain name brand buyer (starts with a P. My periods went from cramps to laying in bed for three days to not having anymore cramps!
I love softcups so thats what I
I LOVE my Lunette! I will NEVER go back to disposable anything! I that I can barely tell that I’m having my period when I’m using it – the cup is so comfortable, and I feel so clean! And it’s so convenient – I don’t even have to worry about whether I have enough “product” when I leave the house.
I love my Lunette Selene so so much! It makes my sometimes miserable and long periods much more managable, it is so easy and comfortable. I also have a Meluna cup that is great that I keep for backup in my car or my purse, but I prefer the Lunette selene.
I have been using menstrual cups (Mooncup, Divacup and Lunette) for over 6 years and I still love them every time I use them! I also use cloth pads for spotting and sometimes at night. The brands I use are Lunapads and Kulmine. 🙂
I love Instead softcup! I finally feel free. I don’t have to carry all those supplies in my purse anymore!
My favorite is Lunette, perfect shape and perfect softness, it’s so comfortable!
I would love to say I love something about my period or a product that I use for my period but my period days are horrible and the products I use (pads) are just used to get me thru this unbearable time. I have never heard of some of these products but the Lunette sounds like it would be worth a true, it would be perfect if it helps with killer cramps but I will have to go to the website to look around more about that, but thank you for the name of some of these products I have some research to do so maybe I can have a period product that I love!
Eco – Crazy Mom sent me. I usually use tampons. I just got a sample of soft cup and I love it in theory. I did try using it and lets just say I need practice with it. But I am pretty sure that I will love it
I love that your sight is so informative!

I am an always Infinity pad girl Love them!
I think it’s great what you are doing with this site! Thanks for always giving great advice!!
I agree with Kathy! This is such a great idea. I had a hard time talking about this with my own mom.
Tampons, pads, pantiliners. . . all disposable. Mine should be ending soon, though. . . maybe.
I’m an Instead SoftCup gal. Disposable. Haven’t gotten brave enough yet to try the reusables. 🙂
I’m a Tampax girl. I’ve used the same tampons now since I was 14…except they’ve just gotten bigger in size. I used to wear the slim fit or the regulars, and now I need the extra-super plus or whatever they call them! Pretty soon I’ll probably just be sticking a whole roll of paper towels up there. LOL
Stopping by from voiceBoks members to remember! Have a great week!
Smiles, Jenn @Misadventures in Motherhood
Thanks for stopping by Jenn, you are hilarious! Have you considered a menstrual cup for heavy flow? Have a wonderful week!
My vote is definitely for Softcup! I had always thought tampons were the best; and then Softcup came along. It is so much easier to insert and much more comfortable. I also love how much longer it can stay in than tampons can.
I was a regular Tampon user until I stumbled upon Softcups!! Now there will be nothing else used EVER!!! I am still using the disposables, my periods aren’t regular (still breastfeeding the little one).
I started using these cups last year and I only have good things to say about them.. No nasty smells and easy to use.. Highly recommend them..
I love Softcup for 11 years now. It’s the best product I’ve tried. I love that I have the option to have sex even during my menses. No other product gives you that option.
Wow, you’ve been a fan for a long time! Have you tried the reusable Softcup yet?
