Whether your daughter is 6 or 9 or 13 and no matter where she is on her pubertal journey, this chat is for you. Questions are welcome. What a great idea! I have all boys, so I won’t be needing this kit (whew!) but it is a nice bit of info to pass along to family and friends with girls. Thanks!
Thank you Nicole! We also have great information, products and services for menstruating women as well. Wishing you a Happy New Year!
Thank you Alison! We are always happy to help! Happy New Year!
Great idea! I have 3 young girls and certainly will need help on this subject down the line. Happy New Year!
This is a great idea – I’ll have to keep it in mind for when my daughter is older. It sounds like a pack that should be sent home with 5th/6th grade girls via their school’s health teachers…
Thanks for sharing,
Kristina
Thanks Kristina! We’d love to get into schools, if for nothing else but to be a resource for parents and girls in their search for more information.
Tara, you know how much I love your mission with this website. Thank you for continuing to get the word out to help parents of young girls be prepared for puberty. I gave your site information to a fellow mom at the school bus stop a few weeks ago. Her 8yr old was complaining of bad headaches and tummy trouble that seemed to be happening around the beginning of the month each month. They took her to children’s hospital for a check up and sure enough the doctors mentioned she may be in the early phases of puberty. They also thought that since they considered her a tad tummy heavy (she’s really not!) that it could contribute to the hormones of puberty coming on earlier. I don’t know if the mom ever visited your site but I did pass the information along. Again, I think this is such a great mission. 🙂
~Sweet blessings,
Rosann
