How many different kinds of pads/tampons do I need?

So I’m 13 and I haven’t gotten my period yet. But I’m making a little bag for myself so I’m prepared. What should I put in it? My mom only has one type of pads but I think it’s better to have thinner ones for dance/daytime and thicker ones for night. What should I use for different times of day?

put 1 or 2 thin and 1 or 2 thick just incase and add extra under wear and ziplocks to like throw away pads or to keep like under wear that was leaked in
