If you get in period in school you can always ask a school nurse for pads and keep a first period kit in your bag just in case. Or you can ask a friend it might be embarrassing but its part of a girl and its normal !.

Getting your period at school can feel stressful, especially if it comes unexpectedly, but with a little preparation, you can handle it confidently and discreetly.

Consider the following:

  • Be Prepared: Keep a small period kit in your backpack or locker with essentials like pads, tampons, panty liners, wet wipes, and even a spare pair of underwear. A great option is the Organic Period 2 GO Kit, which includes everything you need in a compact and discreet travel bag.

  • Unexpected Periods: If you're caught off guard, ask a friend, teacher, or school nurse for supplies. If none are available, rolled-up toilet paper can work as a temporary solution until you get proper products.

  • Comfort and Hygiene: Wear comfortable clothing and stay hydrated throughout the day. If cramps occur, gentle stretches or heat therapy can help ease discomfort.

if someone gets their period at school, here’s what they can do:
1. stay calm – it’s totally normal, and lots of girls have been in the same situation.
2. go to the bathroom – if they have a pad or tampon, they can use it. if not, they can fold up some toilet paper as a temporary fix.
3. ask for help – they can ask a friend, teacher, nurse, or even the front office. most schools have extra pads.
4. tie a jacket around their waist – if there’s a stain, this helps cover it.
5. keep supplies in their bag – if they haven’t started yet, carrying a small emergency kit with pads, wipes, and extra underwear can help.

it might feel embarrassing, but remember, periods are normal and nothing to be ashamed of!
