Missed Period Stress

 Can we call this MPS? :D I missed my period last month and experienced quite a ride on the emotional roller coaster.  In a full month, there wasn't a day when I didn't feel upset in some way or another.  This had nothing to do with fear of preg.......

Is my period causing me to be depressed a week before it starts?

So a week before my period I felt depressed and down and I cried over stuff.. Well the next week I now feel kinda sad still and like I don't love anything or enjoy anything.. And I wonder if it is because of my period? Will it get better once the period is over? Is it my hormones? .......

PMS used to affect me very seriously before I went on the pill, but my dad would sometimes reprimand me for my behavior. How do I tell him it was just something I couldn't control?
