My menstrual cycle is getting longer and longer after every period

I am 23, my periods used to be pretty regular, I would say my average cycle period was 29-30 days. In the past few months I have noticed, that my period kept arriving later and later than it should have. For example, if cycle A was around 29 days, cycle B turned out to be 31 days, cycle C then became 32 days, and so on. My average is around 35 days now. I am wondering if anybody else have an answer or explanation to this?

Hi Susan!

It sounds like you've got some imbalanced hormones there. Could be that your progesterone is too low, or your ovulation is happening later than usual.

Have you noticed any other symptoms along with this? I.e.: heavier/lighter flow, more PMS symptoms, more/less pain etc?

You could try regulating your cycles with the moon phases, a very effective way to bring your cycles back to normal. Once you;ve synced, you will get your period around the New Moon phase and you will ovulate around Full Moon. That will bring your cycle back to 28-30 days.

Check out how on my post here: http://www.thehormonediva.com/#!The-Moon-and-You-Regulating-Your-Period-with-the-Lunar-Cycle/c22d5/1

Hope this helps!
