I got my First Period in May of 2009 when I was 11, now I’m 15. I got up & got dressed, I remember I was wearing purple capris with sneakers & a white shirt, I also had my hair pulled back. I remember I had to pee so I went to the bathroom, when I looked at my underwear they had pink stuff on it. I remember getting a little freaked out even though my mom had told me about periods. I’m at home just waking up at 7am like normal, and I go to the bathroom (as usual when I wake up) and I’m about to wipe myself, but I see some red ucky stuff on my panties. Ok, so it started on January 1st, 2013! I was very hyped the day before, very happy for the new year and i had recently moved in with my dad. And so when i woke up everything was normal, just a little brown spot and i didn’t think much of it. I was going to class and had to go to the bathroom. So I went and found brown, wet, clumpy stuff in my panties. When I got home it was still there. So I put on a liner. Ok, so my first period started on July 3rd of 2012! My family goes so Torch Lake with a bunch of family and friends for the 4th of July. I remember walking back to the house from the sand bar because i had to pee REALLY bad. So when i got to the house and went to the bathroom i saw blood gushing out of me!!!!! I was FREAKING out because i was only 11, and LOVED swimming and tubing in the lake. So i sat there and cried (nobody was home) and i would NOT use a tampon!!!!!! So then i rememberd i packed a pad ( just in case) so i just wore that and i was fine. I got my first period when I was 9. I blame drinking hormone filled cows milk as a child. That day I had a friend sleeping over and I woke and went to the bathroom to find that my undies and pajamas and legs were covered. It looked like I had a murder in my pants. So I sat there screaming with the door locked and I wouldnt let anyone in. I knew where my mom kept her pads but they were far too large for me. Hers were 14 inches long and 2 inches thick.
