My diva cup will not stay in!!

My sister gave me my Diva cup shortly before i got pregnant with my son, so I only used it for one cycle pre-pregnancy. At the time my problem was that it leaked, but I think i just never got it to open properly. Now, a little less then three months after giving birth my period has returned. ( surprising to me cause i breastfeed) Anyway, I tried my Diva cup again. This time i can get it to pop open no problem and it does not leak, but i cant get it to stay in there! Before, i got it in and never even had to trim the stem. Now, i had to cut the stem off and then turn it inside out to shorten it some more! So, like that i can get it in and its comfortable for maybe 5 min. The more I walk and move the more it slides down untill the end is actually sticking out! Why is it doing that??? Its so uncomfortable to wear like that! I really want it to work, but i cant function while feeling like im about to birth my Diva cup any minute. Please help!!!

Do you have a size 1 or 2?  That might also make a difference.

 Hi Elisabeth,

Great question!

It is important to remember that the body takes time to recuperate after pregnancy and the recovery time varies significantly from woman to woman, and the muscles must be strengthened again using exercises like Kegels. Many women find that the best way to insert and position The DivaCup has changed after childbirth. Our customer support team can provide you some great tips to help and we'd also encoruage you to talk with your doctor as they too may be able to offer some assistance.
